Who can not believe it's December already? (I've got my hand raised)
Christmas will be here before you know it. As much as I wish it wasn't so there are children in our Sioux Falls community that won't be getting a Christmas present this year due to financial situations. We have been given the opportunity to help provide gifts for some of those children. The Revive youth with be partnering with Dan and Minni Lee in the Petigrew Heights neighborhood outreach by supplying items to fill stockings for them to hand out to those in need. We won't be filling them with what you may think though.
They are looking for apples, oranges, candy, and socks for newborns - 12yr olds. So if your student is part of Revive please help us fill as many stockings as possible by bringing the items listed above on Sunday or Wed. nights from now until December 14th. On Saturday December 17th the students will have the opportunity to help stuff some stockings that will be given to the children at 1pm at First Christian Church on 13th and Duluth.
