Children’s Ministries

At Crosswalk Community Church, the nursery ministry is much more than just a childcare service. We believe that even the youngest churchgoers can experience the love of Jesus through worship, play, and prayer. Everyone on our nursery staff takes special care of both the physical and spiritual needs of the children in their care, allowing each parent to feel comfortable and confident in attending service.

At this age and stage, we recognize that being separated from mom and dad can sometimes be difficult. Our goal is to provide a calm, safe, and loving environment for children to begin to experience and understand God’s love. Each month features a new Bible theme, and the children enjoy singing, making a craft, and engaging in a variety of activities that support the lesson. We have exceptional teachers that truly enjoy seeing the children learn and grow while in their care.

Preschoolers learn best through play and also while exploring with all of their senses. We focus on presenting God’s love in a relevant and understandable way so that each child will be excited about coming to church and begin developing a personal relationship with our Creator. Each Weekend and Wednesday service, the children learn a Bible story, sing worship songs, create a craft project, and engage in hands-on activities that reinforce the lesson. Our wonderful teachers are committed to providing a safe and loving environment for each and every child.

Elementary students have the opportunity to experience God in a high-energy program that takes place at the same time as our adult services every weekend. The weekend lesson is then reinforced in a smaller group setting with personal discussion and hands-on activities on Wednesday nights. We believe that relationship with God is FUN, and our incredible staff brings a lot of excitement to the time we spend worshiping, learning God’s Word, and connecting with each other. Every child will have the opportunity to laugh, grow, play, and pray in Kids Church at Crosswalk.
